Yom HaShoah or the day of Holocaust Remembrance is an event that occurs in early spring of each year. Portland has an active Holocaust Survivors community who along with the Oregon Holocaust Resource Center, put on a beautiful and touching service each year. This year, there is a weekend of events surrounding Yom HaShoah entitled ReShaping the World after the Holocaust, including two workshops here at Portland State University on Sunday, April 27th. Rabbi Yitz Greenberg is the key note speaker and he and Blu Greenberg will be leading the two workshops. These two events are free of charge and all are welcome.
